Technical Presentation - Chrysos PhotonAssay latest updates and enhancements

This technical presentation summarises the latest Chrysos PhotonAssay updates in detection limits, wet samples and silver analysis. Last updated November 2020

Technical Presentation - PhotonAssay for Rapid and Safe Gold Analysis

This presentation reviews the application of Chrysos PhotonAssay in fields ranging from exploration to process monitoring, and grade-control to ore-sorting. It highlights results from studies on the measurement of challenging coarse gold deposits, and ongoing work to enable near real-time assays of process pulps without drying. Report - PhotonAssay for Gold Analysis in Mineral Ores: Sample Preparation and Fire Assay Comparisons

In this report, we explore the application of Chrysos PhotonAssay to the measurement of gold in real mineral samples sourced from Australian and international operations. In aggregate, nearly 12,000 measurements on approximately 2,000 separate materials have been performed. Contact Chrysos here to receive a copy of this document. Last updated November 2018

Report - Development and Operation of PhotonAssay Systems for Rapid Analysis of Gold in Mineral Ores

This paper reports on the design, development, installation and commissioning of Chrysos’ first PhotonAssay system. Samples are packed into barcoded, screw-top plastic jars in which they remain throughout the analysis. Once loaded onto an input conveyor, the analysis process is fully automatic and requires no human intervention. Samples are returned unchanged and be safely disposed of or retained for future testing as required. Contact Chrysos here to receive a copy of this document. Last updated June 2018

Technical Presentation - Industrial Photonuclear Physics: The Assay of Gold and other Elements in Mineral Ores using Gamma Activation Analysis

Chrysos PhotonAssay provides a unique, chemistry-free approach to material analysis. It hits samples with high-energy X-rays, causing short-lived excitation of atomic nuclei of targeted elements. These nuclei then give off a characteristic signature that can be detected and used to calculate metal grade. Contact Chrysos here to receive a copy of this document. Last updated December 2016

Whitepaper – Validation of PhotonAssay Precision and Accuracy for Gold Analysis

Precision refers to the repeatability of the measurement process – a precise analysis will consistently give the same result when tested on the same material. The term accuracy refers to the deviation between the reported grade and the true value. An accurate analysis method is necessarily precise, but the reverse does not have to be true.
